Am going to test the theory that a picture is worth a thousand words. Probably for the remainder of the month. (And yes, I know that radio silence means no sound which would suggest no blogging – but it was a catchy title. )

    Very nice, how did you get this effect? Unless you found a rare flower whose stem and leaves are black & white and the flower is in color?!?!?!

    These don’t grow in your backyard? Weird.

    I use picasa. In the effects tab for each photo there’s a “focal black and white” setting. I chose that.

    Would be cooler if I had a grayscale plant though.
